Welcome!

The Appalachian Piping Academy is a school of the Celtic Arts, currently offering courses in Highland Piping and Drumming in the Roanoke Valley.

Upon competency of the instruments, we also have a professional, audition based bands for our students to graduate into.

Courses are offered on a donations basis, suggested at thirty dollars a lesson. We will never turn anybody away based on financial need, but we also hope that what we offer will reflect on any generosity offered in support of our efforts!
